Our Black Soldier Fly products support a range of industries
Formulated for the species, not sold as a commodity. Each market page carries the applications, the evidence and the regulatory position for that species specifically.
PET FOOD
Insect protein for pet food
A genuine novel protein, with a clear sustainability story and a supply chain that doesn't compete with human food.
Novel protein
Most companion animals have no prior dietary exposure to insect protein, which makes it useful in elimination and limited-ingredient diets — one of the faster-growing segments in pet nutrition.
Nutritional performance
Amino acid profile, digestibility and palatability data are available on request. Every figure we publish names the trial or third-party study it comes from.
A clear sustainability story
Black soldier fly larvae are produced on a fraction of the land and water of conventional protein, using feedstock that would otherwise be a disposal cost.

REGULATORY POSITION
Our oil and dried larvae are regulated under different ingredient definitions, with different permitted uses by species. Before supply, we confirm the applicable definition and species coverage.
ANIMAL FEED
High-functionality lipids and proteins for poultry and swine
Where the evidence is strongest
Black soldier fly ingredients are particularly well studied in young animals, where the scientific evidence base and commercial opportunities are strongest.
Poultry
A jungle fowl's ancestral diet was substantially insects. Whole larvae trigger foraging and pecking behavior that supports welfare outcomes alongside the nutrition.
Swine
Weaning is a period of high stress and increased dietary sensitivity. Black soldier fly ingredients provide highly digestible protein and a lipid fraction naturally rich in lauric acid, for improved functional outcomes.
AQUACULTURE
A direct route away from marine fishmeal
The structural driver
Marine fishmeal supply has remained broadly flat for decades, while aquaculture has grown into the fastest-expanding animal protein sector. That creates sustained demand for alternative protein ingredients.
Inclusion
BSF defatted meal replaces a portion of the marine fishmeal in salmonid and shrimp compound feed. Inclusion rates, growth performance, palatability and digestibility data are shared with formulators on request.
A lighter certification burden
Because our protein is not marine-derived, it can simplify traceability and certification requirements in the supply chain.
