Oils & Lipids
High in lauric acid and easily digestible
About this product
Black soldier fly oil is not a commodity fat. A substantial share of its fatty acid profile is lauric acid (C12:0), a medium-chain fatty acid rarely available in feed outside coconut and palm kernel derivatives. Black soldier flies produce it using dramatically less land and water.
The commercial interest is concentrated in young animals, where the combination of high digestibility and medium-chain fatty acid content shows up most clearly in performance.
